About the Role We are seeking a Lead Engineer for Oracle HCM Cloud Applications to lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of key HCM modules across the enterprise. This role requires a strong techno-functional leader with deep Oracle HCM Cloud experience and the ability to partner with HR, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, IT, and vendor teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, Recruiting, Talent Management, Workforce Compensation, Journeys, Redwood, Approvals, Security, Reporting, and Integrations. This person should be able to lead complex transformation initiatives, support critical annual HR cycles, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. A critical requirement for this role is experience using AI tools, AI agents, and automation to improve business operations. The candidate should be able to identify manual and repetitive processes, design AI-assisted solutions, and use automation to improve productivity, data accuracy, support efficiency, and overall business value. Experience with Oracle Native AI studio, enabling, modifying native agents and building custom agents would be a huge plus. Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support for Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including Core HR, Workforce Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Absence Management, Journeys, Approvals, Security, Reporting, and Redwood experiences.
  • Support annual HR processes including performance cycles, compensation reviews, merit and bonus planning, goal management, absence processes
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes and translate business needs into scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
  • Design, manage, and troubleshoot integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and internal systems, external vendors, payroll providers, benefits providers, and downstream applications.
  • Develop and support OTBI reports, BI Publisher reports, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL loads, dashboards, operational reporting, and related data validation processes.
  • Lead Oracle quarterly update reviews, impact assessments, regression planning, testing coordination, feature enablement, deployment planning, and transition to steady-state support.
  • Provide technical and functional leadership to Oracle HCM SMEs, engineers, QA resources, contractors, and vendor teams, while mentoring team members on configuration, reporting, integrations, support, release management, and automation practices.
  • Identify manual, repetitive, and error-prone Oracle HCM processes and recommend automation or AI-assisted improvements. Collaborate with business and IT teams to evaluate AI opportunities that create measurable value Criteria
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM, Oracle HRMS, or Oracle HCM Cloud applications, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with at least two full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations across modules such as Core HR, Workforce Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Absence Management, Benefits, or Payroll-related integrations.
  • Strong techno-functional expertise across business process design and technical solution delivery, with hands-on experience in Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Reporting, Security, Approvals, and Integrations.
  • Expertise in OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, data conversion, reporting security, Oracle HCM table structures, REST APIs, integrations, automation scripts, and data validation tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, team leadership, mentoring, testing coordination, release management, and production support skills, with practical experience using AI or automation tools to improve productivity and business outcome.
